Roger Waters Live in Bombay

Five years ago , 13 April 2002 . The air was redolent with the aroma of freshly smoked pot , massive quadrophonic speaker sets stood like monoliths round the Arena casting exceedingly imposing glances on the very few clusters of people assembled in the ground . I had managed to sneak into the Arena during the sound check of the Roger Waters' Bangalore tour , the photographs of which I have posted in the previous Post .

February 18 2007 . The air was redolent with the aroma of freshly smoked pot , massive quadrophonic speaker sets stood like monoliths round the Arena casting exceedingly imposing glances on the very vast amount of people assembled in the ground . I managed to sneak in a camera and photograph the actual live event . My biggest regret is NOT taking along my digital camera for fear of it being confiscated . So the photographs have been clicked on a very ordinary analog Nikon Camera , which I didn't mind losing.
Hence the conspicous grainy quality of the photographs .
But I hope that these photographs do succeed in depicting the grandness of the show to some extent .

  4. Man, it was great to check on your pics from the Roger Waters Concert Dark Side of The Moon. I've just watched it a couple of weeks ago in Brazil (Sao Paulo) and watching these photos was just unbelievable. There's nothing that we could tell people who didn't see it to explain... I don't even know what to tell you about it. It was amazing, probably the best concert I will ever see...

  6. Good job, considering that I had only seen cellphone pics until now and they pretty much suck!

Too bad you didn't have the right position. I was right in the front, centre. Queue up sooner next time the air is redolent with the aroma of freshly smoked pot ;)
